Great reception for Bloem’s new Boxer Superstore The Free State’s busy capital city was filled with cheers and song on Thursday morning as Boxer’s second superstore opened its doors for the first time. The new supermarket, based at Bloemfontein Plaza, saw hundreds of customers flock to the opening, eager to take advantage of the incredible opening store specials.

“As the newest member of the Bloemfontein community, we are proud to be open. We were not prepared for all the support and love we received and it has shown us all at Boxer Bloemfontein Plaza just how important our Superstore is to the community. Boxer intends on keeping its promise as the community champion and returning all the love shown by the community, everyday,” said Boxer Bloemfontein Plaza Branch Manager Lebohong Moremi.

With rows of till points manned by highly trained cashiers, shopping is a breeze at the ‘all under one roof’ supermarket. A butchery, bakery, fresh fruit and veg section, hot foods deli and Money Kiosk means that Bloemfontein shoppers now have two supermarkets in town to get exactly what they need this festive season. With Boxer’s famed Black Friday week deals on the way, shoppers said the opening happened at just the right time.

“We now have two Boxer’s in Bloemfontein to visit and shop at! I cannot wait to see what Boxer is going to give us during Black Friday week and over Christmas, this is just fantastic,” said an excited shopper. Excitement and joy filled Bloemfontein Plaza on Thursday morning as shoppers welcomed Boxer’s second Superstore to the city.
