What a morning for Thembisa shoppers! With Black Friday week upon us, the new Mall of Thembisa’s opening, combined with the opening of Boxer Superstores has given the busy town much to celebrate! The new supermarket joins the state of the art mall for their inaugural opening day on Friday morning, with many shoppers heading to the ‘community champion’ to take advantage of wonderful specials and that one of a kind Boxer service.

The new Boxer Superstore is equipped with everything shoppers need ‘all under one roof,’ whether they need to top up on their electricity, play the lotto, pay their DSTV bills and other EasyPay accounts or access their funds at the TymeBank and Nedbank ATM and kiosks. SASSA grantees can also rejoice as they are able to check their balances plus withdraw their monthly grant at any till. A range of fresh food and produce departments greeted shoppers as the Boxer doors opened at 7am. Within the Butchery, highly trained staff had a wide range of fresh and frozen cuts of meats and prepacks ready for shoppers. A short walk over to the Bakery saw shoppers rewarded with tasty, freshly baked bread and confectionary.

The Fruit and Vegetable department was an instant hit, with a range of seasonal fresh produce available every day and for those hungry shoppers needing a quick bite to eat, the ‘kitchen fresh’ items in the ‘Grab and Go’ section proved a welcome relief. Boxer at the Mall of Thembisa is proud to serve Thembisa and the many families visiting the brand new mall. Boxer’s latest Superstore opened to cheer and celebration in the brand new state of the art Mall of Thembisa on Friday and shoppers are thrilled with the incredible savings and service!
